►What is the goal of making these fan trailers?

In MacamTV they are created to inspire film-makers through my unique ideas and to show them how much audience wants to see it happen through my trailers.

►Is this trailer inspired by a real movie coming soon?

As of the making of this video, no official movie coming soon. Let’s never give up dreaming until this dream movie becomes reality!

►How do you make it clear its fan trailer not official?

Most fan trailers don’t have good reputation because they aren’t clearly labeled. At MacamTV, we set a good example by marking ours as fan made in the title and beginning/end of the video, while avoiding studio logos so viewers know they’re unofficial. The goal is to restore the true spirit of fan trailers, as fun, creative showcases of dream movies.

►How are dream trailers created?

I first become a fan of the franchise, then get knowledge about franchise news, fan theories and updates about the dream movie. Then research “fresh” clips of the actors and anything to tell the story in the dream trailer using effects, music, AI, and editing software like Wondershare Filmora, Photopea, and more.

We made this Home Alone 7 fan-made trailer to bring back the cast that made us fall in love with the franchise—Macaulay Culkin, Joe Pesci, Catherine O’Hara, and Daniel Stern. The goal was to recapture that classic feeling of nostalgia, humor, and Christmas magic that defined the original films. We kept the story simple: Kevin McCallister, now grown up, once again finds himself defending his home during Christmas against the returning Sticky Bandits. It’s a full-circle moment that celebrates the charm and chaos that made Home Alone a timeless holiday favorite.

For the editing, we focused on keeping the pacing fun and familiar, mixing classic sound effects, booby trap moments, and the warm glow of Christmas lights. The chosen song has that joyful Christmas vibe to instantly set the tone and bring back the holiday spirit. The trailer was designed to feel like an official comeback — playful, nostalgic, and full of heart — giving fans a glimpse of what it would be like if the original cast reunited one last time for a true Home Alone finale.
