Welcome to the third installment of a five part series where I take you through my process for colouring in the duck pond picture in Johanna Basford's 'Enchanted Forest'. If you haven't seen the first installment I recommend you go to my YouTube channel and select part one. Over the coming weeks I'll add new videos demonstrating colouring this picture from start to finish. You will see how I go about choosing and testing colours and how I apply them to the page. Included is the frequently requested tutorial on how I colour backgrounds with pencils.
This weeks video is a bit shorter than the others as I spend a bit of time going over and colouring in components that are identical to last weeks video. I did this because I wanted to show the whole process from start to finish without skimming over any bits. next weeks video we'll be colouring the pond itself along with the second fish, the eel and the chest so lots of new material there.
