Classic solo speedway action from the Speedway Solo Stars Innovation meeting held at the iconic Newcastle Motordrome on Saturday 28th November 1987.
One of the races was interrupted by a major accident, which caused a temporary halt to the meeting. Thankfully, there were no injuries, and racing was able to continue.
Featuring top solo riders of the era, this meeting showcases the speed, skill, and bravery that made solo speedway such a crowd favourite at Newcastle.
A memorable night of Australian speedway history from the late 1980s.
