Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at this CE Smith 57.5 inch long galvanized trailer axle beam with the standard spindles and an 1800 pound weight capacity. Now this square axle beam will act as part of your trailer suspension system. It'll replace an axle on your trailer or you can fabricate the suspension to fit your application using this beam. I did wanna zoom in. We talked about it's a galvanized steel construction.

It is very sturdy, provides corrosion resistance, so it is great for use on a boat or snowmobile trailers. It is a reversible straight beam, so it can be used for either underslung or overslung application. Now the tubing width on this is about 1.5 inches. Now this is a seatless design, which means it does not require spring seats. If you notice right here on each end, there's holes here.

And these holes are where your springs will center on there using these holes in the tube. They do use straight spindles. There's no drop to it, and the spindle size or diameter is one and 1/16 of an inch. Now I wanted to zoom in, also it includes the cotter pins right here, one on each side. It includes the spindle nuts, again, one on each side.

And then the spindle washers, one on each side. Put our cotter back in there. There we go. Now this part is made in the USA. Weight capacity we mentioned is 1800 pounds on this.

The overall length from end to end is 62 inches. The hub face length, which when the hubs are put on here, it would be from one hub to the other, is gonna be 57.5 inches when those hubs are mounted. And then the spring centering holes center to center is gonna be 46.5 inches measurement. Now a couple other things I do wanna mention is the bearings that are required on this, we do sell those separately. It uses both an inner and outer bearing with the same part number, L44649. The bearing races are also sold separately. They use part number for inner and outer, the same, L44610. And then the grease seal that you need for this is again sold separately.
