Lapping Infineon on the 2012 Honda CBR1000RR proved to us that the changes to the suspension and fueling were very effective. Less dive from the BPF keeps the chassis stable and enables much more precision turn-in than the 2011 model; the new Balanced rear shock is light years better than before and keeps the rear tire much more controlled; the new fuel mapping gives more linear power lower down and that's especially noticeable transitioning back on to the gas, especially in first gear. The new instruments--with gear indicator! are awesome.
