Linde Door Control by Linde Material Handling has immensely improved work in the new Voestalpine Automotive Components warehouse. The system designed by the Linde MH in-house company Comnovo reduces costs, boosts efficiency, and increases safety.
In intralogistics, goods are frequently transferred between indoor and outdoor areas. These are efficiently facilitated with the help of high-speed doors. Unfortunately, collisions occur time and again if the high-speed door is not yet fully open at the time of passage. With Linde Door Control, these accidents are a thing of the past.
How does Linde Door Control work? When a forklift truck approaches a high-speed door, its travel speed is gradually reduced while the door opens automatically. After passing through, the high-speed door closes again, and the forklift driver can continue at the usual speed.
