This webinar is the 2nd part of our series on monodisperse fully porous particles, presented by Geoff Faden. The research and data presented was done in collaboration with Sylwia Kowalska and Szymon Bocian at Nicolaus Copernicus University in Poland.
In this work, we discussed how utilizing monodisperse fully porous particle technology (MFPP) generates significantly higher resolution as compared to polydisperse particle technology, due to compressing the λ value of the chromatographic packed bed. We apply this new technology to oligonucleotide analyses. Applying a novel bonded phase chemistry to the monodisperse silica particle architecture and packing these particles in a chemically inert coated hardware allows significant advantages for oligonucleotide separations. For single stranded oligonucleotide species, we can demonstrate comparable resolution to industry standard ion-pair additive separations without ion-pair based mobile phases.
