Road salt is a permanent pollutant that damages wildlife in our lakes. It also rusts cars, damages soil and kills plants. Grit is reusable, works in all temperatures, will not damage pavement, and creates traction on slippery surfaces. Join the fight to curb salt pollution with this simple change today.
The Get Gritty campaign is a partnership between Ramsey Washington Metro Watershed District, Rice Creek Watershed District, Coon Creek Watershed District, and Vadnais Lake Area Water Management Organization.
