Petroglyph National Monument New Mexico | Piedras Marcadas Canyon Trail

Piedras Marcadas Trail is my favorite hiking trail in the Petroglyph National Monument in Albuquerque, New Mexico. It has quick access to the petroglyphs, in a quiet neighborhood with beautiful views all around.

Piedras Marcadas is one of three hiking areas where you can view petroglyphs at the Petroglyph National Monument. This area is located 5.3 miles from the Petroglyph National Monument Visitor Center on the West side of Albuquerque, New Mexico. In my opinion, this is the best petroglyph trail in Albuquerque.

Dogs are allowed and there is no fee to hike/park here. Please note there are no restrooms at the trailhead.
