Driving the Padre Island National Seashore is a unique experience. 120 miles of driving along the coast on the beach of Texas near Corpus Christi makes for a great day of adventure. A 4x4 vehicle is highly recommended to get through the sand, especially if your still on the beach at high tide where you will have to drive in the deep soft sand closer to the dunes.
