Trains on CN's Yellowhead Pass, route through the Rocky Mountains, at the Alberta–British Columbia border, Canada, This is Canadian National's Albreda subdivision which runs 132 miles from Jasper AB to Blue River BC.
Locations include Moose lake and between Valemount and Blue River.
There is plenty of variety in trans with leased locomotives, Canadian Pacific, BC Rail and Via rail Canadian and Skeena passenger trains.
The weather ranges from marginal and pouring rain. One day west of Valemount was so wet I had to set up by tripod on the passengers seat of my car, opening the window just as the train came! The results where worth the effort.
Most shots show the whole train, not just endless shots of Locomotives!
