HBCA met LG Ladakh to demand Kailash Mansarovar road reopening & Bhoti language recognition

Himalayan Buddhist Cultural Association (HBCA) demands reopening of Kailash Mansarovar Road from Demchok in Eastern Ladakh. HBCA member lead by President Tsering Norbo said that this road not only hold importance to Buddhist but also to Hindus and Jain religion followers. He also said that Kailash Yatra is very difficult and dangerous from Nathula side and it takes 15 to 20 days travel but from Ladakh it will hardly take 2 days to reach Kailash Mansarovar. He also added that road was closed after 1962 conflict with China.
He also demands to include Bhoti language in the 8th schedule of Indian Constitution and said that Bhoti fulfils all requires criteria to fit in 8th schedule. Recently a delegation from HBCA met LG Ladakh Kavinder Gupta with these two demands and he assured them full support.
