This monastic dance of the Torgya Dungyur festival depicts the story of a man named Dikchung who lived in a village named Jigten Jomkhar in the Mon region long long ago. He had a very loose tongue and never shied from using vulgar language with his parents, was always untruth and even engaged in theft. During day time he used to slaughter animals mercilessly and consumes alcohol at night and ate animal flesh. He spent his whole life committing sins.
Through this dance it is displayed that how a sinner goes into the realm of hell and faces all sorts of punishments.
