How Single Malt Whiskey is Made -- Grain to Glass

I visit Oak and Grist Distillery as well as Riverbend Malt House in Asheville, NC to learn how Single Malt Whiskey is made. I’ve been on plenty of touristy brewery and distillery tours but this one was the complete opposite of that. Small batch, some may say “micro-distillery,” the vibe felt very homey.

Please note: I filmed this in July while on a road trip of the east coast of the US. I approached Oak and Grist cold and fortunately they were able to provide me this experience. However for this reason, given no matter the circumstance this was my last day in Asheville, several visual components of the whiskey-making process are either omitted or generated for this video.
