ABOUT STEVE BOYES:
Steve, a conservation biologist featured by National Geographic, founded the Wild Bird Trust in South Africa. The organization works to preserve wildlife, advance the research and education on the conservation of all birds in Africa and works with NGOs, governments, private sector, research institutions and aviculture & bird-watching companies to accomplish their goals. Their work has been instrumental in getting the Okavango Delta wilderness in northern Botswana listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and their annual expeditions across the wilderness represent the most comprehensive biodiversity survey ever undertaken in this remote area. Currently Steve is working on the Cape Parrot Project, which is a mission to protect the last 1,000 Cape Parrots left in the world.
