【天长地久桥 & 受鎮宮 】
从台中去阿里山的路上会经过两座天桥，一个叫 ”天长“，另一个叫”地久“。他们都说只要一起走过这两座桥的情侣、伴侣都会在一起长长久久，天长又地久。而在 ”天长地久“桥下有一座受鎮宮，到访的人可以进去拜拜。
但老实说这里没什么特别的，所以我们在这里只呆了20分钟左右就起程出发去奋起湖了。

【奋起湖】
奋起湖也是去阿里山的路上必经过的景点，也是全台海拔最高的老街。司机告诉我们奋起湖老街里的铁路便当是一定要尝试的！下车的时候第一个感觉就是好像在日本，过后才知道原来历史里日本人都有占领过台湾，所以地方也充满了日本的味道。除了奋起湖老街，里面还有许多不同的步道可以让你搭配着凉凉的天气感受穿梭树林里的感觉。临走之前，我们在奋起湖车站旁嗅到很香的甜甜圈味道，就买了两个上车吃。没想到真的超级好吃！

【阿里山】
因为导游没有安排好时间，所以我们很晚才到达阿里山。到了阿里山也只剩下最后一班火车了，对于我们来说除了去台北，阿里山也是来台湾必要来的地方，风景真的很美尤其是3/4月分来有的看樱花。我们来的时候是4月尾，樱花也差不多没有了只剩一点点。建议大家有打算来阿里山的3/4月分来，然后至少要住2天会比较好的体验，不喜欢运动不喜欢走路的人你们还是住多几天慢慢逛吧哈哈哈哈。

【交通】
我们的包车是从台中酒店直接到嘉义然后去完3大景点也就是阿里山，奋起湖之类的，过后回也是司机直接载我们回到台中酒店，也可以要求司机放你在其他地方下车。来回至少都有8个小时吧，多是在车看风景哈哈哈。

有兴趣来阿里山的，有3种方法去到阿里山就是包车、火车、巴士。原本我们是有打算坐火车因为很美也可以看风景，但是开火车的时间有限，加上火车只到奋起湖最后一站然后就要自己搭巴士再上到阿里山，有耐心有时间的朋友其实可以去试试，可以多考虑这个巴士直接上到奋起湖然后逛了再等下一站巴士上到阿里山。

【个人建议分享】
本身我觉得来台湾除了去台北，阿里山是必要来的地方，给你的感觉就是跟其他景点不一样，就是很台湾又日本的感觉，来一杯热热的咖啡坐在上面都爽。虽然这次我们只体验2个小时的阿里山但是还是很开心很满意。至于台中对我们来说我们下次是没有打算再来因为没什么景点加上吃的也没有比台北好吃，卖的东西也很少，交通也不方便。

【Eternal Bridge & Shouzhen Temple】
On the way from Taichung to Alishan, you'll pass by two sky bridges, one called "Eternal" and the other "Everlasting." It's believed that couples who walk across both bridges will stay together forever. Beneath the "Eternal Bridge" is the Shouzhen Temple, where visitors can offer prayers. Honestly, there's nothing particularly special here, so we only stayed for about 20 minutes before heading to Fenqihu.

【Fenqihu】
Fenqihu is a must-visit spot on the way to Alishan and has the highest-altitude old street in Taiwan. Our driver recommended trying the railway bento at Fenqihu's old street! The moment we got off, it felt like we were in Japan. Later, we found out that Japan had occupied Taiwan in history, giving the place a Japanese vibe. Besides the old street, there are various trails to enjoy the cool weather and forest atmosphere. Before leaving, we caught a whiff of delicious doughnuts near the Fenqihu Station and bought two to enjoy on the ride. They turned out to be super tasty!

【Alishan】
Due to poor scheduling, we arrived at Alishan quite late. There was only one train left, but aside from Taipei, Alishan was a must-visit place for us. The scenery is truly beautiful, especially when cherry blossoms bloom around March and April. When we went in late April, most of the cherry blossoms were gone, leaving just a few. We recommend visiting Alishan in March or April and staying for at least two days to fully experience it. If you're not a fan of physical activities or walking, taking it slow over a few days might be a better choice, haha!

【Transportation】
Our car rental took us directly from the Taichung hotel to Jiayi (Chiayi), and then we visited three major attractions, including Alishan and Fenqihu. The driver also brought us back to the Taichung hotel. You can also request the driver to drop you off at other places. The round trip takes at least 8 hours, mainly spent enjoying the scenery from the car, haha!

If you're interested in visiting Alishan, there are three ways to get there: car rental, train, and bus. We initially planned to take the train due to its scenic route, but the train schedule is limited. The train only goes to the final stop at Fenqihu, and from there, you need to take a bus to Alishan. If you have patience and time, this could be a great option. You might consider taking the bus directly to Fenqihu and then catching the next bus to Alishan.

【Personal Recommendations】
In our opinion, besides Taipei, Alishan is a must-visit destination in Taiwan. It offers a unique vibe that's different from other places – it's like a mix of Taiwan and Japan. Sitting on the mountain and enjoying a warm cup of coffee is simply delightful. Although we only had about 2 hours to experience Alishan this time, we were still happy and satisfied. As for Taichung, we don't plan to come back since there aren't many attractions, the food isn't better than Taipei's, and the things to buy are limited. Additionally, the transportation is not very convenient.
