Taiwan’s friendliness and hospitality are known the world over! It has won international praise again and again as one of the world community’s most welcoming and most livable countries. In a number of separate years InterNations, the world’s largest website for people living abroad, has conducted worldwide surveys and declared Taiwan the world’s friendliest country. Taiwan’s hospitality and its convenient and safe living environment leave a deep impression with international travelers. This is a tourism brand that has been created through the enthusiastic participation of the entire population. To present this beautiful island nation -- Taiwan – to the world with a showcase display, giving international friends an opportunity to experience Taiwan’s warm hospitality and vitality, The General Association of Chinese Culture (GACC) and the Taiwan Tourism Bureau, Ministry of Transportation and Communications have organized the Spend a Night @ Taiwan’s Presidential Office Building gratis experience activity, the first program of its kind in the world, with the official announcement of the activity website launch today (8/12). Details on the registration mechanism and application procedure were provided and an international promotional video released, welcoming the wide world and inviting foreign friends with an affection for Taiwan to come experience a unique gratis night stay at Taiwan’s Presidential Office Building.
