Aluminum Paintless Dent Repair can be more difficult than repairing dents in a regular steel panel. A few things that are helpful with these repairs are using a consistent heat and stiff sharper tools.

The crease dent in this Ford F-150 door required removing the doors belt molding to gain better access and a large opening for my PDR tools.
This crease was also behind the inner door brace or intrusion beam. This makes it even more difficult to push out the dent. It required using a few different whale tail PDR tools to squeeze between the brace and make many small pushes behind the crease dent for repair.

The 3 whale tail tools I used were from A1 PDR tool and also from Dent Craft Tools.
The first tool I used was a custom-made “reverse” whale tail that I had made from A1 PDR Tool. This tool brings the handle around to the top and puts the “rounded edge” of the tool to the top. This is opposite than a standard whale tail.
I then needed to use the other PDR tools to either make a sharper push or also be able to fit better inside the brace.
