Maths Star films R151s sets 893/894 & 921/922 running as T307 & T309 respectively along the EWL, as well as R151s sets 891/892 & 907/908 running as T102 & T101 respectively along the CGL, on the 8 December 2025. These were all filmed on the first day of formal operations of both the new eastbound Platform A at Tanah Merah MRT station and the ECID as part of the Tanah Merah Modification Project (TMMP).

The EWL Shut Down 2 end date was brought forward by one day and with a new week, East West Line train operations resumed with dispatches and withdrawals from ECID instead of Changi Depot starting on the same day!

The track layouts have been completely altered as relevant track crossings between EWL mainline & CGL have been dismantled to facilitate the integration of CGL into the TEL extension by mid-2030s. A reception track hence also connects to the ECID TEL sector from the CGL. As the old EWL westbound & eastbound viaducts will be used for CGL, new viaducts were constructed for the EWL that connect to the ECID.

Towards the end of the video, there is also a tour of the newly expanded concourse of Tanah Merah MRT station & new platform A. There’s also new RATiS format at Tanah Merah! Though, the downside was that R151 still played the old transfer announcements for Tanah Merah.
