Cleft palate speech therapy: Use of N to D

Cleft palate speech therapy technique. Girl has to learn placement of the T and D high pressure sounds. TC SLP grad student, Juan Cabrera, uses the N, a nasalized sound with same place of articulation as the D, to produce the D. He closes the nose so the sound has to be forced out the oral cavity. But little by little he open the nose and the D remains in place.
