This adventure may be short, but it’s packed with breathtaking rewards. Imagine some of the best views you could ever hope for, with the majestic Annapurna mountain range and the iconic Machapuchare (Fishtail) peak stealing the show.Our trek began in lush, green forests, gradually leading us to the awe-inspiring snow-capped peaks. The most thrilling part? The final stretch of the trek, which we actually had to attempt twice because of tricky weather and zero visibility.

Q: IS IT TRUE THAT YOU CAN ONLY TREK IN NEPAL WITH A GUIDE?
A: While there is a law mandating that trekkers in Nepal must hire a guide, it wasn’t strictly enforced when I visited in April 2024. I personally confirmed this with the national park office in the Annapurna region, where no guide was required. Similarly, while trekking through Sagarmatha National Park (Everest Base Camp), no one enforced this rule. That said, enforcement can vary, and future policies may change, so it’s always a good idea to check the latest regulations before planning your trek.
