Dr. Jan-Harry Cabungcal is a Filipino-Swiss neuroscientist and senior researcher at the Centre de neurosciences psychiatriques of Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) in Switzerland. His academic work focuses on oxidative stress, redox dysregulation, and their roles in neurodevelopmental disorders such as schizophrenia. He has co-authored over 65 scientific publications, contributing significantly to the understanding of how oxidative stress affects parvalbumin interneurons and neural synchrony in the brain . 
Beyond his scientific career, Dr. Cabungcal is deeply committed to Christian ministry. He is the founder and evangelism coordinator of Europe 4 Jesus, an initiative aimed at inspiring and equipping young people for Christian mission work across Europe . He also serves as an evangelist and trainer with Adventist World Radio (AWR) .
