The Road to Leh: High Passes, Ancient Monasteries & Cosmic Landscapes 🇮🇳| Ep 2

Experience Day 2 of my Himalayan motorcycle adventure as we ride from Kargil to Leh along the breathtaking National Highway 1. This 32-minute journey is packed with iconic Ladakhi landmarks, dramatic high-altitude passes, and deeply personal moments.

We begin in Kargil, stopping at the ancient Mulbekh Chamba Statue, before climbing over Namika La Pass and Fotu La Pass — the highest point on the Srinagar–Leh highway. We then descend into the surreal lunar landscapes of Lamayuru Moonland, where erosion has sculpted terrain that looks straight out of another world.

The ride continues to Sangam Point, where the mighty Zanskar and Indus Rivers meet, and then to the historic Gurdwara Pathar Sahib — a truly special stop for me as a Sikh, steeped in the history of Guru Nanak Dev Ji. We finish our day in Leh, the vibrant capital of Ladakh.
