What started off as the worst 5 hours of our lives (a rough 6 hour boat trip from Pedang to Metawai Islands) Ended up being an absolutely epic surf trip!
We stayed at Pitstop Hill. Initially booked pre covid, the trip had been on hold for around two years. Pitstop Hill is a well oiled machine run by amazing staff, it is a special place and I can't recommend it enough.
As I am no advanced surfer, I took the mellow boat option most days. The second boat chased heavier waves each day but the swell didn't get much passed 5 foot at Bank Vaults.
I put this video together as something to look back on if I don't get back over there. For anyone watching, hope you like it!
