Hello there
After a rest day in Nong Khai and a short trip to Vientiane (Laos) to renew my visa for Thailand, it’s time again to move on.
I actually wanted to make a movie from Nong Khai to Phitsanulok, but there were so many interesting things to see (and tell) in the first two days that I have now split the movie into two parts. In this episode (the first part) I’m pedaling from Nong Khai to Chiang Khan, a beautiful 180km stretch along the Mekong.
Chiang Khan is a pleasant town right on the river and worth a visit.
I covered this route in mid-February 2024 and always had good, hot weather and a friendly tailwind.
