This was made as a gift for a friend and fellow knifemaker in California . It is a hand made paring knife using Baker Forge cumai steel with an 80CRV2 core. The WA style handle is spalted walnut burl, walrus ivory, copper and mammoth tooth finished in CA glue finish. The blade guard is ironwood with walrus ivory and donkey shell abalone.
Is it the world's most exotic paring knife? Probably not, but it may be damn close!
