I first discovered Chick Corea's "Armando’s Rhumba" through my love for salsa dancing. While it isn’t a salsa tune, its lively Latin rhythm and playful spirit instantly reminded me of the joy I feel when dancing. Arranging this piece for solo guitar was a real challenge, it really pushed me to explore new ideas and techniques.
This version was recorded live at the Hamburger Gitarrenfestival 2024, an amazing guitar festival in Germany.
