This is one of the strength sessions I've written for the squad I coach, and I'm doing it with a few modifications (coz I've got a sore shoulder, so am trying to be sensible and (after doing some shoulder rehab) do a gymnastics strength session instead of a gymnastics skills session). Gymnastics Strength Circuit
3 -5 rounds
1. rope climb (with or without legs depending on ability, I did 10 x body row)
2. step downs x 6-10 each leg (increase height of box to increase difficulty)
3. push ups x 10-15 reps (I did DB floor press)
4. single leg hammy curls x 6-10 reps each leg
5. med ball dead bugs x 10 each side
6. banded clams x 15-20 each side
7. exercise ball stir the pot x 30s (I did exercise ball plank)
Shout out to Emily Loogman and LSKD on the hoodie and sports bra I'm wearing in this video. I looooove an oversize hoodie and this one has a lovely touch of femininity. And the sports bra is so much softer and comfier than I was expecting! And also such a feminine, flattering style!
