Most of the time there will be a little bleeding where a woman undergoes intercourse for the first time. The reason for that is there is a small membrane at the faucet at the opening of the vagina which is called the Hymen. This remains intact until you begin your sexual life. So the first attempt at intercourse usually breaks the hymen and that causes a slight bleeding now. The bleeding can be for one or two days. It is not in a large amount and usually will stop completely on its own. Sometimes if this membrane has more blood vessels in it then the rupture of the hymen can lead to more bleeding and a bleeding which is going beyond 2 to 3 days which is more in amount will then need some medicines to stop it. So if the medicines are able to stop the bleeding that is good enough but sometimes even if the medicines have not been able to stop the bleeding which has happened after the first intercourse we need to see if there has been a minor injury there. So if there is a small aberration or a cut which happens because you are going ahead with it for the first time that will be need to be addressed separately but usually the breaking of the hymen during the first intercourse brings in a small amount of bleeding which settles down on its own you just need to take care of the local hygiene.
