🏛 About the Oregon Trail Interpretive Center
The National Historic Oregon Trail Interpretive Center, located just five miles east of Baker City, Oregon, is dedicated to telling the story of the Oregon Trail migration of the 1800s. Managed by the Bureau of Land Management, the center features:
Life-size replica covered wagons
Exhibits on pioneer life, Native American culture, and natural history
Theater presentations and interactive displays
Access to actual wagon ruts along the historic trail
Sweeping views of the Blue Mountains and Baker Valley
It’s one of the most complete and well-preserved locations for Oregon Trail history in the country.
