For those of you who don't know, Jun Maeda is one of the founders of Key, and is the writer and music composer of its visual novels including Air, Kanon, Clannad, Little Busters, Angel Beats, and just was recently in collaboration with P.A.Works as the writer and music composer of Charlotte. He took a major in psychology and is known to anime fans as a specialist in writing songs and stories with intense feels and psychological impact.

I thought that this video should capture the very essence of my videos. They should be clean, simple, entertaining, and most importantly retain the emotions contained in the original songs. I want my covers not just good to hear, but also pleasant to see. I want my covers to speak to the audience, I want my audience to be able feel the song emotionally as if they're fully immersed within it. That's how my covers should be, and those are the things that differ me from everyone else.

This song is part of the Flaming June album which is a collaboration between Jun Maeda and Nagi Yanagi. This is my own arrangement, learned through hearing. Watch until the very end ;)

Fun facts:

1. My 1000 subscribers special video was Angel Beats' Ichiban no Takaramono. Composed by Jun Maeda and was my longest piano cover on YouTube. Now this 3000 subscribers special video is composed by the same person and is now my longest piano cover on YouTube.

2. I was wearing the same long sleeve shirt as in my Ichiban no Takaramono video.

3. This is my first video to feature the Grand Piano 1 (GP1) sound of the Roland RP301. I had always used Grand Piano 3 (GP3) on my previous videos. GP1 has a warmer sound than GP3, and is the one that I found most suitable for this song.

4.The ring finger of my right hand was wounded. I was wearing a band aid, but the video overlay and effects camouflaged it. You'll see it when you look close enough.
