The profi-air classic 90° air outlet box and the profi-air tunnel 90° air outlet box complete the FRÄNKISCHE’s range of wall- or floor-mounted supply/extract air outlets.

The profi-air classic 90° air outlet box can be connected to different available classic pipe dimensions depending on the installation situation and the required air volume. The connection couplings used for this purpose are available in the nominal widths 63, 75 and 90; due to an integrated sealing, they guarantee an airtight and watertight connection: flexible, variable and reliable at the same time. Depending on the airflow rate, the installer has an option to use up to three connections. The openings not required remain sealed with an airtight connection plug.

The profi-air tunnel 90° air outlet box is convincing due to its flat structure and, thanks to its height of only 80 millimetres, it requires very little space. It is therefore perfectly suited for low floor structures and wall installations. Depending on the air volume, up to two profi-air tunnel pipes can be connected – the installer can make the second hole with a hammer if required.

Both the classic and the tunnel variant of the air outlet box are provided with crush and spray protection made of cardboard. It prevents the air outlet from getting dirty between the installation of the box and the attachment of the ventilation grill. The boxes have a stable support surface and can be variably fixed by means of metal angles on both sides.

To ensure more flexibility in residential construction, FRÄNKISCHE has developed an extension for the air outlet boxes, since the length of the air outlet box can be insufficient especially in the floor installations. In this case, the installers can variably extend the length of the box by means of the profi-air extension. The usable length of the extension element is 10 centimetres and can be shortened if necessary. To make sure that this connection remains airtight and watertight too, the building technology expert has integrated a circumferential sealing ring. Depending on the height of the floor structure, several air outlet extensions can be arranged on top of each other.
