60009 'Union of South Africa' With Its Last Swanage Belle 13/9/18

With its retirement imminent, A4 Class No. 60009 'Union of South Africa' made potentially, its last trip to Swanage, so it was an opportunity not to missed.
Starting at Worting Junction, No.9 is seen speeding along, in the stunning sunshine.
Getting ahead of the train, we next see it accelerating away from a red signal at Foxhills, running 15 late (following the local stopper)
After getting ahead of the train once more, we arrive at my favourite location on the Swanage Branch. Creech Bottom, where the A4 put in quite a performance climbing the 1 in 78 towards Swanage.
Finally the tour arrives in Swanage allowing Standard class 4MT Tank No.80104 to depart.
Following No.9's Service on shed, we see Class 33207 'Jim Martin' Haul the return working to Southampton, where 60009 would take over again.
Picking up No.9 again at Romsey, as she rolls out of the darkness, once again stuck behind a local stopper. Luckily the platform end signal clears, and 60009 beautifully opens up and accelerates through the station, a sight and sound I won't forget for a while.
Maybe one day 60009 Will return for all to enjoy again.
