How to make Collage in Photoshop - Photo Grid Tutorial

Learn how to make a collage in Photoshop with photos. This Photoshop tutorial will use grids and guides to align the pictures perfectly. We first will make placement holders for the photos using different colors. Then we will use the Create Clipping Mask feature which will connect the photos to that layer.
You then can add different color borders and frames to the photo collage. I used a hear shaped photo for the center. You can use any custom shape you want.

I am using different colors to fill the sections. It doesn't matter what color you use. I just use different colors so you can see the different sections.

If the marquee tool and selections are not automatically snapping to the guides, then go to View-Snap To and make sure there is a check mark on all of them. Also View-Snap should be check marked.
