요한복음 4:19~24





19 여인이 예수께 말했습니다. "선생님, 제가 보니 당신은 예언자이십니다./The woman said to him, "Sir, I perceive that you are a prophet.


20 우리 조상들은 이 산에서 예배를 드렸는데 당신네 유대 사람들은 '예배는 예루살렘에서만 드려야 한다'라고 말합니다."/Our fathers worshiped on this mountain, but you say that in Jerusalem is the place where people ought to worship."


21 예수께서 여인에게 말씀하셨습니다. "여인아, 나를 믿어라. 이제 이 산도 아니고 예루살렘도 아닌 곳에서 아버지께 예배드릴 때가 올 것이다./Jesus said to her, "Woman, believe me, the hour is coming when neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem will you worship the Father.


22 너희 사마리아 사람들은 알지 못하는 것을 예배하지만 우리 유대 사람들은 알고 있는 것을 예배한다. 이는 구원이 유대 사람들로부터 나오기 때문이다./You worship what you do not know; we worship what we know, for salvation is from the Jews.


23 이제 참되게 예배하는 사람들이 영과 진리로 아버지께 예배드릴 때가 오는데 지금이 바로 그때다. 아버지께서는 이렇게 예배드리는 사람들을 찾고 계신다./But the hour is coming, and is now here, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father is seeking such people to worship him.


24 하나님은 영이시니 하나님께 예배드리는 사람은 영과 진리로 예배드려야 한다."/God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth."
