London Stansted Airport, or more commonly known as “STN” or “EGSS,” is one of the United Kingdom’s major international gateways and a hub of constant aviation activity. The airport offers some fantastic viewing points, and just beyond the main runway, there’s a lesser-known spot that provides an incredible view of the northern takeoffs and landings. From here, you can spend hours watching a steady stream of aircraft—from sleek narrow-bodies to massive long-haul jets—soaring overhead and touching down.

I filmed this video myself and own all rights to the footage and audio, including all visual and sound recordings. This project was created to highlight the diverse range of aircraft, airlines, and operations that make London Stansted such a fascinating airport for aviation enthusiasts and travelers alike.
