This documentary is my entire year of 2024 — a year that changed how I live, feel and choose.
After years of traveling and chasing experiences, I made a quiet but powerful shift:
I stopped making happiness my goal — and chose inner peace instead.
Because happiness can be taken away.
Inner peace creates space for all emotions.
This film follows my nomadic journey through Poland, England, France, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Sweden, the Netherlands and Scotland, visiting places like Kraków, Tarnów, Muszyna, Zakopane, Częstochowa, York, Prague, Stockholm, Gdańsk, Hel Peninsula, Warsaw, Lublin, Bieszczady Mountains and Edinburgh.
But this documentary is not about travel alone.
It’s about:
• conscious living
• slowing down after burnout
• family, friendship and deep connection
• choosing calm over chaos
• finding home in people, places and within yourself
I start the year in Kraków, the city that feels like home.
Family and friends visit, and I show them the beauty of Poland.
I travel with my dad, my mum, my stepdad and my nephew Ryan — discovering how meaningful it is to be an aunt.
There are also difficult moments.
Mental and physical exhaustion.
The realization that I cannot continue life at the same pace.
So I slow down.
I stay longer.
I choose depth over movement.
In summer, I return to the Netherlands, the country I once avoided — and fall in love with it again.
I discover that home is not one place.
Home is where I feel calm.
This documentary is about pure love, strong decisions, inner transformation and living with intention.
