In this tutorial, i will show you how to create embedded answer (cloze) question types in Moodle. I will illustrate how these can be used to create sophisticated questions, that can include both numerical response and multiple choice in the one question. These questions can have fully customised layouts and be used for simulations, such as completing a mathematical table, with gaps for the student.
