There are other artists doing acrylic pours using a craft pumpkin but have you ever wondered if it would work on a real pumpkin? Will the paint stick or slide off? Is a primer needed? How will it dry? We have answers!
This test pour was done in preparation for the pumpkin pour challenge; testing both the paint and technique. If you are feeling uninspired and looking for a new pour paint idea, why not try a pumpkin! Get festive choosing your color combinations and prepare yourself for some physics challenges, as the pumpkin's shape does not lend itself to easy coverage. Tilt, dribble, pour, tilt!
