"A Canticle for Leibowitz" is a post-apocalyptic social science fiction novel by American writer Walter M. Miller Jr., first published in 1959. Set in a Catholic monastery in the desert of the southwestern United States after a devastating nuclear war, the book spans thousands of years as civilization rebuilds itself. The monks of the Albertian Order of Leibowitz preserve the surviving remnants of man's scientific knowledge until the world is again ready for it.
This radio drama production is excellent.
I downloaded the whole series onto cassette tapes that were broadcast from the KCRW Santa Monica, California, radio station.
NO COMMERCIALS, THANK GOD!
I don't know how good the sound quality is on the two postings above from the Internet Archive.
My cassette recordings sound very good and clear.
However, this is a video channel and not an audio channel.
I made the mini video montage so that there would be a video for this post.
My purpose for this post is to inspire you to listen to the radio drama from the Internet Archive, or from some YouTube Channel.
