When the lifts stop spinning and you venture out for one more before the sun goes down. That's when you can find some of the best light and the ideal capper for your day in the mountains. Mike and I got after it on our splitsurfers and summited just before the light left us for the night. The splitsurfers blazed trail easily as they always do and I could tell Mike was pretty impressed with his first venture out on the Splitsurfer. As much as we were jonzing for more, we had to called it a night as darkness crept in.
