How to easily remove the wire spiral from a spiral-bound notebook. Using wire cutters, cut the locking loops off both ends of the wire spiral, then roll the spiral off—simple! It takes a minute or less, and makes no mess. When cutting wire, you should wear safety glasses, or close your eyes when you make the cut, just in case something flies.
