Turns out we can parry a single hitbox attack and then immediately dodge to net both bonuses from the same attack. I guess the hitbox lingers long enough for us to dodge a neutralised attack. The timing seems tight from what I can tell.
I first noticed this while messing with Marksman affinity bonus in this particular mission, hence decided to record the boss fight mainly out of convenience. I managed to get only a few instances of the double buff to trigger.
For context, I apparently have faster break recovery, hp regen, and mp regen from parrying (from master points) and increased mp recovery upon a successful dodge (50% Marksman affinity).
Similarly, against multi-hit lingering hitbox attacks like the Wave Cannon, we can carry a soul shield invincibility into a parry, then carry that parry invincibility into a dodge to obtain the associated bonuses as well.
The fight itself was messy though.
