In this video I cover the way I cleaned my shop apron . With little information available on the subject. I took what common sense I have and some bits of information I did find and used a very crude method to get the funk out of my shop apron . Basically all that was done , was rinsing and massaging the apron in a bucket of clean water .(I repeated this step until the water in the bucket was clean) This method is safe for your waxed canvas , as harsh soaps and machine washes along with HOT water will most certainly strip the wax coating off of your waxed canvas. With a variety of products available to maintain , clean , and repair your waxed canvas , you should have no trouble if you do run into problems with your canvas item . My main concern was to make the apron stop stinking ! The stains and the wear marks are still there , which is fine by me . This is a simple way anyone can wash their shop apron when it gets a little ripe . Let me know how yall clean your waxed canvas items !
