UCB Biosciences Inc. is conducting a phase 3 clinical trial called STARS to investigate a drug for prolonged seizures (seizures typically lasting more than 3 minutes).The study is looking for patients 12 and older who have focal or generalized epilepsy, or a combination of the two.
This study is to measure how well the body tolerates the investigational medication and whether it works in people who have prolonged seizures. It is required for the patient to have an active caregiver to be part of this study.
