Following the unexpected box office success of Five Nights at Freddy’s, Blumhouse Productions has announced a sequel that promises to delve deeper into the chilling lore of Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza. Titled Five Nights at Freddy’s 2, the film is set to hit theaters and streaming platforms on October 18, 2025, just in time for Halloween.

Fan-favorite Josh Hutcherson reprises his role as Mike Schmidt, the beleaguered night guard who narrowly survived the horrors of the animatronic menace. Also returning is Piper Rubio as Abby Schmidt, whose mysterious connection to Freddy Fazbear’s dark past will be further explored.

Veteran horror actor Tony Todd (Candyman) has also been cast in a pivotal role, fueling speculation about his connection to the sinister backstory of the animatronics.
