The piassa revitalizing development project aims to enhance the historical, social, cultural and commercial character of the Piassa area. The project aims to blend modern development with the area’s unique character, improve deteriorated housing conditions and enhance the quality of life for residents while boosting tourism.

The project has focused on creating and interconnecting three major hubs that draw inspiration from Piassa’s original historical and socio-economic character. The commercial hub is inspired by Piassa’s enduring economic significance dating back to the cities establishment. The socio-cultural hub draws inspiration from Piassa’s rich history as a hub of entertainment and community engagement. The project aims to incorporate elements of vibrancy and publicness into the revitalization efforts. The green hub draws inspiration from the densely developed piassa neighborhood, where open public and green spaces were overlooked, the project aims to create a balanced urban environment that incorporates ample public and green spaces for the well-being and enjoyment of residents and visitors.
