Charlie Newhart is an Actor/Comedian who has had a myriad of experiences including defeating cancer as a teen, being shot by his ex-wife, hustling, and becoming a single father with sole custody of his children. These experiences fueled his self-written and directed stage plays that brought him local success. Charlie loves to give back and has been successful in business and entertainment. While flipping houses and running the family car lot, Charlie has done national commercials, joined SAG-AFTRA, and has landed roles in projects like NBC’s Chicago PD and most recently Star Trek on CBS. He's written and published an autobiography along with developing his own TV pilots and features. He performs nationwide doing stand-up. He's a God-fearing man who is a recovering dirtbag.
