In this proof-of-concept study, researchers from Dana-Farber Cancer Institute established a novel liquid biopsy approach, MinimuMM-seq, enabling the enumeration and sequencing of circulating tumor cells (CTCs) to replace standard molecular cytogenetics performed on bone marrow of multiple myeloma patients.
