What is improvisation? An Introduction to improvised music / Episode 1

Hello everybody and welcome! I'm super happy to introduce you to my new video series dedicated to improvisation in music!

The topic is huge so my goal is not to paint a complete picture (which is basically impossible) but to explore some of the most recurrent and important concepts and practices of improvisation with an informative approach. I'm also going to share my personal experience and a lot of interviews with many friends and musicians who use it extensively in their works. Practices and concepts are deeply bound in improvisation and you will discover how!

This first episode is just an introduction where you find some general definitions and examples.
In the next videos we will go more indepth in the topic, exploring it from different angles.
